Reason 1
When March rolls around, Canadians (and presumably, many people from parts of the world like-inflicted) lust for warmer weather. To be able to ditch the parkas, toques, and winter boots, and don a light blazer, and sneakers.
All I dream of is this. My running trail.
Feet meet concrete, as fresh air flows through your body, dusting off your lungs from a winter of rest. They say running is the best therapy, and cheaper. They say all it takes is for running to become a habit, and soon your body will crave it.
Right?
Wrong.
I'm not a runner, not even
close to being able to call myself a runner. However, every spring brings the promise of tomorrow.
"It will happen this year." Having lost a lot of weight over the last 3 years from dieting and exercising, I would love to stay fit and lean by running regularly. Here, I will chronicle my progress.
But first, Mr. Golden Sun, please shine down on meeeee.
Me, Aug 2012, Toronto Island.
